Welcoming You...
Because sometimes words just aren't enough.
Words cannot always hold the way we are feeling. Maybe the exact word doesn't exist!
So, we find ourselves struggling for the right word(s) & end up having to fit our feelings around the language.
By using creative channels (image, song, movement) to express ourselves we are utilising different kinds of language. Thus, broadening our vocabulary & opening up the spectrum to intimate expression.
There is space to move here.
The beat of internal rhythms sound; this is a landscape where there is flow, improvisation, wonder & journey.
There is no right way or wrong way.
This is about the exploration of expression & the discovery of what fits with you.
This is a process that is alive & spontaneous.
To begin on this journey with your expressive language is a process that
does not exclude you.
You are welcomed as you are.
You are welcomed as you are.

Art for Arts Sake...
'But, I am not an artist.. I don't have a creative bone in my body.. I want to loosen up..
I want to invigorate my creativity.. I haven't drawn since high school..
I don't know how..'

Does this sound familiar?
Art making can become very serious & over conceptualised.
This manifesting from the deep rooted belief of what art should look like, what is expected of us & too our art.

The permission to be playful & to let go of how or what our art is, opens up the playing field to innate creativity.
This is a beginning, middle, end & everything in-between philosophy.
Encompassing the whole of who you are
by developing a practice that welcomes you for you.

This requires an un-learning of what we think art is & everything that comes-up at a personal level from this.
New ways of doing things & ways of being are able to say, 'hello'; at their own pace & in their own way.
This where creative exploration of journey rather than destination come to into play.
This kind of art making brings child-like delight & discovery back into art making.
Returning art to the individual, to it's maker.
